Tessa, Mateo, Sarah and I landed in Seattle and were greeted at the airport by Chase and his amazing mother Angela! They brought our car and relieved us of some of our luggage until we could find a house. We had to say goodbye for a week to Chase because he was house sitting for his family.

These are some thoughts that I was reflecting on during the 4th of July, the day before we flew out. It wasn’t until this day that my thoughts of transition and what it meant were acute and clear. I think it’s very important during times of transition to reflect on where I’ve come from to appreciate where I’m going. This is a process of reflection from the time Tessa and I arrived to Kona in Feb 2015 to when we left July 2018. These are things that I did, things that I didn’t do that I wish I had done, and things that I gained.
