LDC Update: 26 Days Left

We have 26 days to go before we fly out for our Leadership Development Course in Oregon. As of right now, we have a discount offer of $150 from our whole cost, so we're very thankful for that! And flights we initially started looking at were much higher than what we're seeing now. Not sure how long that will last but stoked nonetheless! We still need quite a bit of funds with no clue as to where it will come from. We're hopeful and trusting in God leading us as we continue pressing in with much prayer. We received some solid encouragement that stirred us into prayer...

This speaks to me that God's promises and direction are not surrounded by a glossy frame containing a shallow idea but a rock solid guarantee from a God who never fails us. It's so easy to get discouraged by things that we see or don't see in our lives. But that's now how we desire to live and we're sure that's not how God wants us to live. Actually Romans 1:17 says, "The righteous shall live by faith," which happens to be a quote of a quote from Habakkuk 2:4. Another hero we were reminded of was of George Müller's great faith. A man who was famously known to have the built orphanages out of prayer. During his lifetime, he had taken in over 10,000 orphans. I'm so thankful that we get this season to contend with this in prayer and pursue what God has put on our hearts. 
This is still what we're needing to come in to be fully funded. Please shoot up a quick prayer on our behalf.

• The most immediate cost we need to pay in ASAP is our room deposit of $500.
• The next cost will be for our airfare. Please pray that we can get a sweet deal on these tickets as this can drastically alter the total cost we still need to see come in. Round trip ticket prices from Kona to Portland International Airport, for all three of us range from $460-$600 each: $1,380-$1,800. 
• After this the remaining amount of our tuition will be due during the 1st week of the course: $3,050. 
• We are still looking for a nanny for Mateo. With an additional $350 we can offer room and board for the whole 6 weeks of the course but they would have to take care of their own flight or drive their if they are from any nearby states. Contact us for more info!
• Rough Total: $5,300-$5,700.
