Some other important points that we would LOVE prayer over:

• We need to find a nanny for Mateo for the 6 weeks we will be attending. Families are required to bring their own nannies. There will be a preschool teacher available to teach Mateo and one other child his age. Contact us for more details!
• Please pray that we can find the right people to carry our roles and responsibilities here at YWAM Ships. Tessa's role is quite expansive and critical for the operations of the ministry here. This is such a huge undertaking that it could affect us being able to go.
• Other than the finances for our course, this month of August has been especially challenging financially. Huge things that have all converged during a time when God has led us to step out in huge ways. The $6,000 USD that I mentioned are exclusively for the LDC. It would be an extra $1,200 for the other things that we're having to lean into God for.
  

We're thanking God regardless even though this is always an uncomfortable and inconvenient place to be with our family, we'll praise God no matter what and trust Him fully no matter the outcome.

"The Leadership Development Course (LDC) is a 6 week intensive, interactive course that was first started at the Seamill Centre in Scotland but is now in many locations around the world. If you have had at least 5 years experience as a YWAM leader and need some evaluation and focus for what the future holds, then this is the course for you. The course looks into the phases of growth of a leader’s life, mentoring, team building, direction setting and much more. Practical one to one mentoring, peer mentoring, workshops, ministry times and groups of all kinds are a vital part of the course. It’s about you as a leader developing yourself and then others on your team. Its about accomplishing the task but building the people on our teams in the process. Or as Ephesians 4 puts it, “equipping the saints for the work of ministry.”
